Nine ways to CC will change classroom practice

The more I read about the Common Core system, the more I understand and agree with it. After reading the article about the nine ways the common core will change classroom practice almost made me agree with it more then I did a few weeks ago. I like the fact that it will focus on fewer topics but go into greater depth with them. It is designed to build on students' understanding by introducing new topics with grade to grade. When taking math, it will help them apply their knowledge to solve problems. It will also allow the teachers to have more time to work the problems rather than expect the students to come up with the solution. The common core is some aspects actually seem like a logical idea. It seems that it will help out students and teachers, not just one or the other.
